Anyone know where to find these?

I want to use them to make bath bombs.... I found citric acid at Bulk Barn, but it was rather pricey - $5 or so for a small bottle.

I've walked around Loblaws and Metro, but haven't been able to find either cocoa butter or citric acid.

    Please help! =)

    Thanks!

I have bought citric acid at a drug store - London Drugs here, but any drugstore should carry it.

If you can shop through amazon dot ca - or Golda's Kitchen (which has its own site), this is a great price - $15 for 454g or one pound.

Found this at amazon dot com, but didn't check if it's available to come to Canada or not - 5 pounds for $29

    These are CDN

It sure beats paying $6 for 113g

For cocoa butter - depends what you need... the block form like the above poster, or something already in a cream form...

I have made bath bombs and never used cocoa butter the citric acid is available at several different stores I get it in bulk from a soap making supply store but have seen it in grocery store (specialty isle) and in the canning supplies and spices. I use baking soda, citric acid, witch hazel, essential oil and sometimes coloring. My dd gave me the recipe that they used at a factory she worked at.

you can buy both items at soap suppliers, such as

I've purchased from them and other canadian suppliers, and I find their shipping to be most reasonable.

I've also found citric acid at Nutters Natural Foods (expensive, though!) and you dont need cocoa butter to make bath bombs. You can use an oil such as coconut oil or grapeseed oil to moisturize the dry mix and help it hold together.

Voyageur has fresh, good quality products, their shipping is reasonable and they're having their big annual sale right now. Plus, they have lots of good recipes on their website.
